The fun began with a family dinner, on Thursday, December 10, 2009. Actually the real fun began 18 years ago, on Tuesday, December 10, 1991 (with the rest being commentary).

The day began started with Jordana waking to some nice surprises her parents had planned, including a birthday banner on the main floor, a mini-teddy bear, marked with 18 on it and a gag necklace marked with 18s on it.

The family fun continued in the evening with a great family dinner of pizza. It was followed latter in the evening (much to Jordana's surprise) with cupcakes. Of course, prior to dinner, the birthday girl/teen/young lady received her wonderful birthday present.

Before we continue, lets go back a few years and take a look at a younger Jordana.

The fun continued on Saturday, December 12, when Jennifer and David joined us for a wonderful dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House at the Toronto Hilton Hotel. We all took the subway downtown and met up at the restaurant. The table was decorated with balloons and confetti (something that dad had arranged in advance). The birthday girl opened yet more presents (birthday and Chanukah), we all enjoyed dinner and were treated with a piece of birthday cake. The plate was decorated and said "Happy Birthday Jordana". The birthday girl also enjoyed a special tribute written weeks earlier by her father. After dinner we walked back to the Yonge subway, stopping at City Hall along the way to take in the sights and to take some pictures.

The next evening, Jordana wrapped up her fantastic weekend of fun, going out for dinner to Kelsey's with six of her girlfriends. A great time was reportedly had by all.

Below are some of the visual memories from the weekend.
